Cognitive Evolution Governance Standard (CEGS) defines the structural conditionsunder which cognition may learn, adapt, improve, evolve, self-modify, expand capabilities,
acquire knowledge, refine reasoning, and transform cognitive structures while remaining
traceable, accountable, reality-connected, governance-valid, and operationally reliable.
CEGS governs cognitive evolution.
The standard ensures that evolving cognition remains governable and does not degrade
into uncontrolled capability growth, governance detachment, reality divergence,
untraceable self-modification, unsafe adaptation, or cognition states
that can no longer be understood or governed.
Cognition is not static.
Cognition evolves.
CEGS governs the integrity of that evolution.
