A. Standard Abstract

Future intelligence systems increasingly operate through:

Yet most systems still evaluate cognition primarily through:

This creates a major governance problem.

A system may produce useful outputs while cognition underneath becomes:

  • truth-unstable
  • reasoning-inconsistent
  • governance-unbounded
  • continuity-fragmented
  • structurally incoherent
  • contradiction-tolerant
  • cognitively invalid

A system may therefore appear intelligent while cognition itself is no longer governance-valid.

Is cognition itself valid?

A system may:
