Accountability Chain Standard (ACS-C) defines the structuralconditions under which accountability relationships remain
connected, traceable, reconstructable, reviewable, governable,
enforceable, attributable, auditable, and operationally valid across
multi-layer governance structures throughout the
accountability lifecycle.
ACS-C governs accountability chains.
The standard establishes the foundational conditions required to
determine how accountability travels across organizations,
departments, management layers, contractor networks, subcontractor
chains, regulatory environments, AI systems, autonomous-agent
environments, Human-AI ecosystems, and other multi-layer
governance structures.
Accountability may originate at one point.
Consequences may emerge elsewhere.
