Standard Abstract
A defined integrity model and a structurally sound architecture alone do notguarantee that integrity will be preserved. Integrity exists only while
specific governance conditions continue to be satisfied.
Building upon the structural foundation established by STIS, Integrity
Condition Standard defines the mandatory conditions required for integrity to
remain valid throughout the governed lifecycle.
ICS establishes these mandatory governance conditions and provides the
operational foundation upon which integrity can later be measured, monitored,
evaluated, and protected.
When one or more mandatory conditions cease to exist, integrity enters a
governable state of degradation that can subsequently be detected, classified,
and managed by later standards within INTEGROS®.

INTEGROS® — Integrity Governance Architecture, establishing the mandatory
governance requirements that preserve integrity before measurement and state
evaluation begin.
