Cognitive Reasoning Integrity Standard (CRIS) defines the structural conditionsunder which reasoning processes, inference chains, logical transitions, conclusion formation,
assumption management, evidence utilization, and cognitive justification remain traceable,
coherent, reconstructable, governance-valid, and operationally reliable across human,
agent, and multi-agent cognition environments.
CRIS governs reasoning.
The standard ensures that cognition remains capable of producing valid conclusions
through valid reasoning rather than through opaque inference, assumption collapse,
reasoning drift, unsupported conclusions, or governance-invalid logic transitions.
Reasoning is the process through which meaning becomes conclusions.
CRIS governs the integrity of that process.
