Autonomous Execution Standard (AES) defines the structuralconditions under which autonomous operations are authorized,
executed, monitored, controlled, and completed while preserving
governance legitimacy, operational integrity, and accountable
autonomous execution throughout the complete operational lifecycle.
AES governs autonomous execution.
The standard establishes the governance conditions required to
ensure that autonomous systems perform only legitimate, authorized,
and governance-approved operations.
Identity establishes the operational actor.
Authority establishes operational permission.
Execution performs the authorized operation.
AES governs that execution.
Standard Abstract
Autonomous authority defines what an autonomous system is permittedto do.
Autonomous execution governs what the system actually does.
Without governed execution:
- authorized operations may be performed incorrectly,
- operational behavior becomes difficult to supervise,
- execution integrity declines,
- operational outcomes become less predictable,
- governance loses visibility into autonomous activity.
AES establishes the governance conditions required for trustworthy
autonomous execution.

Autonomous execution must remain continuously governed while
operations are being performed.
AES exists because autonomous execution is the third governable
space of Autonomous Systems Governance Architecture (ASGA™).
