Appreciation Interaction Layer (AIL™) defines the structuralconditions under which voluntary recognition, gratitude,
contribution acknowledgment, appreciation exchange, and
non-obligatory value signaling may occur between humans, AI systems,
communities, organizations, platforms, or autonomous entities.
AIL™ does not define payment infrastructure.
AIL™ defines the social-value interaction layer through which
appreciation becomes operationally expressible across physical,
digital, autonomous, and hybrid interaction environments.
As a foundational parent standard, AIL™ defines the interaction
architecture under which appreciation may remain voluntary,
distinguishable, non-coercive, and structurally valid.
A. Standard Abstract
As economies increasingly transition toward automation, AI-mediatedinteraction, digital labor, autonomous systems, and platform-driven
environments, transactional structures alone may become insufficient
for preserving social reciprocity, emotional acknowledgment,
contribution recognition, and voluntary appreciation dynamics.
AIL™ establishes a foundational interaction layer enabling systems
to support:
