Canonical Definition System
An asset identity is the unique, non-duplicable structural reference thatallows an asset to be recognized, tracked, and governed within an
economic system.
Asset identity exists independently of economic value.
An asset may exist without value, but without identity it cannot be
considered valid within a governed system.

- assets can be uniquely identified
- duplication is prevented
- origin can be referenced
- lifecycle can be traced
- responsibility can be anchored
It defines what an asset is within a governed system.
1. Unique Identity Reference
Each asset MUST have:- a unique identity
- a non-duplicable reference
- system-level distinction
2. Origin Reference
The system MUST record:- asset origin
- creation or admission event
- issuing or registering entity
3. Lifecycle Traceability
The system MUST allow:- tracking of all lifecycle events
- reference across validation, activation, transfer, and state changes

Each asset MUST be linked to:- a responsible entity
