3.2 Origin Recording

The system must record the origin of the asset.

Origin may include:

  • issuing authority
  • creation event
  • system admission event
  • registration reference

3.3 Lifecycle Reference

The system must allow the identity of the asset to be referenced during
lifecycle events.


Lifecycle events may include:

  • validation
  • activation
  • transfer
  • suspension
  • state change

3.4 Responsibility Reference

The system must define the entity responsible for maintaining the asset
identity record.


Responsibility may be assigned to:

  • an organization
  • a system authority
  • environmental accountability
  • a protocol governance mechanism

5. Optional Independent
Verification

Self-declaration does not require independent verification.

However, organizations may voluntarily request:

  • third-party verification
  • internal audit review
  • governance oversight

Self-declaration:

  • does not constitute certification
  • does not imply endorsement by OOF™
  • represents a transparency statement by the implementing entity
