Canonical Definition
Escalation Legitimacy Integrity Module (ELIM) defines the structuralconditions under which runtime escalation legitimacy,
escalation-authority alignment, distributed escalation authorization,
and consequence-bearing escalation states remain materially stable,
traceable, and operationally governable across autonomous runtime
environments.
A system satisfies ELIM only if:
- runtime escalation legitimacy remains materially stable
- escalation-authority alignment preserves governance-valid operational continuity
- distributed escalation authorization remains coherent
- consequence-bearing escalation legitimacy remains traceable
- unauthorized escalation behavior does not destabilize operational legitimacy
- A system that preserves runtime execution while escalation legitimacy materially diverges from governance-valid
- escalation conditions does not satisfy ELIM.
