Canonical Definition
Authority-Aligned Decision Integrity Module (AADIM) defines the structural conditionsunder which runtime operational decisions, delegated decision authority, distributed
decision coordination, and consequence-bearing decision states remain materially aligned
with governance-valid authority conditions across operational environments.
A system satisfies AADIM only if:
- runtime operational decisions remain materially authority-aligned
- delegated decision authority preserves governance validity
- distributed decision coordination remains operationally coherent
- consequence-bearing operational decisions remain authority-traceable
- authority-invalid decision conditions do not destabilize operational
- legitimacy
A system that preserves runtime execution while operational decisions materially diverge
from governance-valid authority
conditions does not satisfy AADIM.
Module Function
The module applies wherever systems must preserve:- authority-aligned runtime decisions
- delegated decision legitimacy
- distributed authority coordination
- consequence-bearing decision accountability
- governance-valid operational alignment
- runtime authority traceability
Its function is to ensure that operational decisions remain materially aligned with
governance-valid authority conditions strongly enough to preserve operational legitimacy
across execution environments.
Minimum Implementation Framework
1. Define the Authority-Aligned Decision ObjectThe organization must define which operational decision structures require
authority-alignment governance.
This may include:
- delegated runtime decisions
- orchestration-level authority routing
- autonomous operational actions
- escalation-sensitive authority conditions
- distributed decision hierarchies
- consequence-bearing runtime choices
- operational-critical decision pathways
2. Define Authority-Aligned Decision Conditions
The system must define the conditions under which operational decisions remain materially
aligned with governance-valid authority conditions.
This includes:
- delegated authority continuity
- runtime authority traceability
- distributed authority coherence
- operational legitimacy alignment
- governance-valid decision continuity
3. Define Authority-Invalid Decision Detection Logic
The system must define how materially unstable authority alignment or authority-invalid
operational decisions are identified.
This may include:
- delegated authority corruption
- runtime authority divergence
- distributed authority fragmentation
- escalation-sensitive authority instability
- consequence-bearing authority misalignment
4. Define Operational Response or Governance Logic
The system must define governance logic for materially unstable authority-aligned decision
conditions.
Governance response may include:
- authority synchronization
- delegated authority restriction
- escalation review activation
- operational legitimacy reconstruction
- distributed coordination stabilization
- operational invalidation where required
5. Preserve Traceability & Restrict Invalid Conditions
The system must preserve reconstructable traceability of authority-aligned decision
continuity and authority-invalid decision states. A system must not remain decision-valid if
runtime operational decisions materially diverge from governance-valid authority conditions
while systems continue assuming operational legitimacy remains preserved.
