Provenance Integrity Standard (PRIS) defines the governance conditions
under which the provenance of a governed identity remains authentic,
complete, traceable, verifiable, evidence-supported, and continuously
governable throughout the complete identity lifecycle.

What Is Provenance Integrity?

Provenance integrity is the governed condition in which the complete
history of a governed identity remains authentic, continuously
traceable, independently verifiable, evidence-supported, and preserved
throughout the complete identity lifecycle.

It enables organizations to reconstruct identity history, verify
governance events, preserve evidence, establish trusted provenance
chains, and ensure that every significant lifecycle event remains
permanently attributable.
