Canonical Definition
Clone Continuity Module (CLCM) defines the structural conditions underwhich cloned, replicated, mirrored, or duplicated representations of a
governed identity preserve governance relationships, attribution,
provenance, distinguishability, and continuous governability
throughout the complete identity lifecycle.
CLCM governs clone continuity.
The module establishes the governance conditions required to ensure
that every legitimate clone remains correctly related to its
originating governed identity without creating governance ambiguity or
identity confusion.
A clone may resemble an identity.
It must never replace its origin.
CLCM governs that distinction.
Minimum Implementation Framework
1. Define the Clone Object Identify the governed identity and thecloned representation requiring governance.
2. Define Clone Conditions
Establish governance conditions governing clone authorization,
distinguishability, provenance preservation, attribution,
synchronization, and governance approval.
3. Define Clone Failure Logic
Identify conditions where clones become indistinguishable,
unauthorized, misleading, inconsistent, unverifiable,
or governance-invalid.
4. Define Governance Response
Define governance actions for validation, synchronization,
restriction, correction, investigation, or governance escalation.
5. Preserve Clone Records
Preserve clone records, governance approvals, provenance links,
synchronization history, supporting evidence, and
lifecycle documentation.
