Canonical Definition
Escalation Authority Integrity Module (EAIM) defines the structural conditions underwhich escalation-sensitive operational authority, runtime escalation legitimacy,
distributed escalation coordination, and consequence-bearing escalation authority states
remain materially stable, traceable, and operationally governable across runtime
operational environments.
A system satisfies EAIM only if:
- escalation-sensitive operational authority remains materially legitimate
- runtime escalation continuity preserves governance-valid alignment
- distributed escalation coordination remains coherent
- consequence-bearing escalation authority remains traceable
- escalation-authority corruption does not destabilize operational
- legitimacy
A system that preserves runtime execution while escalation authority materially diverges
from governance-valid conditions
does not satisfy EAIM.
Module Function
The module applies wherever systems must preserve:- escalation authority legitimacy
- runtime escalation continuity
- distributed escalation coordination
- consequence-bearing escalation authority
- governance-valid operational alignment
- escalation traceability
Its function is to ensure that escalation-sensitive operational authority remains materially
legitimate strongly enough to preserve governance-valid runtime coordination across
operational environments.
Minimum Implementation Framework
1. Define the Escalation Authority ObjectThe organization must define which escalation-sensitive operational authority structures
require governance preservation.
This may include:
