Canonical Definition
Delegated Authority Integrity Module (DAIM) defines the structural conditions underwhich delegated operational authority, runtime delegation legitimacy, distributed
delegation coordination, and consequence-bearing delegated authority states remain
materially stable, traceable, and operationally governable across runtime operational
environments.
A system satisfies DAIM only if:
- delegated operational authority remains materially legitimate
- runtime delegation continuity preserves governance-valid alignment
- distributed delegation coordination remains coherent
- consequence-bearing delegated authority remains traceable
- delegation corruption does not destabilize operational legitimacy
A system that preserves runtime execution while delegated authority materially diverges from
governance-valid conditions does not satisfy DAIM.
Module Function
The module applies wherever systems must preserve:- delegated authority legitimacy
- runtime delegation continuity
- distributed delegation coordination
- escalation delegation stability
- consequence-bearing delegated authority
- governance-valid operational alignment
Its function is to ensure that delegated operational authority remains materially legitimate
strongly enough to preserve governance-valid runtime execution across operational
environments.
Minimum Implementation Framework
1. Define the Delegated Authority ObjectThe organization must define which delegated operational authority structures require
governance preservation.
This may include:
- delegated AI runtime authority
- orchestration delegation pathways
- escalation delegation routing
- distributed operational hierarchies
- autonomous runtime delegation
- consequence-bearing delegated actions
- operational-critical delegation chains
2. Define Delegated Authority Integrity Conditions
The system must define the conditions under which delegated operational authority remains
materially stable and operationally aligned.
This includes:
- runtime delegation legitimacy
- distributed delegation coherence
- escalation delegation continuity
- operational traceability
- governance-valid authority alignment
3. Define Delegation Corruption Detection Logic
The system must define how materially unstable delegated authority or delegation corruption
is identified.
This may include:
- unauthorized delegation
- escalation delegation instability
- distributed delegation fragmentation
- authority-traceability degradation
- consequence-bearing delegation divergence
4. Define Operational Response or Governance Logic
The system must define governance logic for materially unstable delegated-authority
conditions.
Governance response may include:
- delegation restriction
- authority synchronization
- escalation review activation
- delegation reconstruction
- distributed coordination correction
- operational invalidation where required
5. Preserve Traceability & Restrict Invalid Conditions
The system must preserve reconstructable traceability of delegated-authority continuity and
delegation-corruption states. A system must not remain authority-valid if delegated
operational authority materially diverges from governance-valid legitimacy while systems
continue assuming runtime authority continuity remains preserved.
