Canonical Definition
Consequence-Bearing Authority Integrity Module (CBAIM) defines the structural conditionsunder which operational authority affecting real operational outcomes,
consequence-bearing delegation states, escalation-sensitive authority conditions, and
distributed authority legitimacy remain materially stable, traceable, and operationally
governable across runtime operational environments.
A system satisfies CBAIM only if:
- consequence-bearing operational authority remains materially legitimate
- runtime authority continuity preserves governance-valid alignment
- escalation-sensitive authority remains operationally traceable
- distributed authority legitimacy remains coherent
- consequence-bearing authority corruption does not destabilize
- operational legitimacy
A system that preserves runtime execution while authority affecting real operational
outcomes materially destabilizes does
not satisfy CBAIM.
Module Function
The module applies wherever systems must preserve:- consequence-bearing operational authority
- runtime authority legitimacy
- escalation-sensitive authority continuity
- distributed authority coordination
- delegated authority governance
- operational legitimacy continuity
Its function is to ensure that operational authority affecting real operational outcomes
remains materially legitimate strongly enough to preserve governance-valid runtime execution
across operational environments.
Minimum Implementation Framework
1. Define the Consequence-Bearing Authority ObjectThe organization must define which authority structures affecting real operational outcomes
require governance preservation.
This may include:
- delegated runtime authority
- escalation-sensitive authority pathways
- autonomous operational authorization
- distributed authority hierarchies
- runtime override authority
- consequence-bearing operational delegation
- operational-critical authority chains
2. Define Consequence-Bearing Authority Conditions
The system must define the conditions under which operational authority affecting real
operational outcomes remains materially stable and operationally aligned.
This includes:
- runtime authority legitimacy
- escalation continuity
- distributed authority coherence
- delegated authority stability
- governance-valid operational alignment
3. Define Consequence-Bearing Authority Corruption Detection Logic
The system must define how materially unstable authority conditions or authority corruption
is identified.
This may include:
- unauthorized operational execution
- escalation-authority instability
- distributed legitimacy fragmentation
- delegated authority divergence
- consequence-bearing authority misalignment
4. Define Operational Response or Governance Logic
The system must define governance logic for materially unstable consequence-bearing
authority conditions.

5. Preserve Traceability & Restrict Invalid Conditions
The system must preserve reconstructable traceability of consequence-bearing authority

systems continue assuming governance-valid runtime legitimacy remains preserved.
