OBM — Outcome Binding Module

Standard: Execution Layer — Enforcement Standard

Category: Governance & Enforcement

Subcategory: Execution & Enforcement Systems

Type: Outcome & Result Integrity Module

Version: 1.0

Status: Canonical · Open

Effective Date: 15 April 2026

Purpose

OBM ensures that:

  • every result has a defined origin
  • every output is linked to execution
  • no outcome exists independently

It connects execution to reality.

Core Principle

No execution, no outcome.

MIF — Minimum Implementation Framework

A system implementing OBM must:

  • link every outcome to execution
  • define origin of output
  • prevent detached or independent results
  • enable verification of outcome origin
  • detect false or unlinked outputs

Core Conditions

  • every outcome must have a traceable execution
  • outcomes must be attributable
  • outputs must not exist independently
  • execution-output relationship must be verifiable

Failure Condition

Outcome binding is invalid if:

  • output has no execution origin
  • result cannot be traced
  • execution-output link is broken
  • system allows detached outcomes

Use Case 1 — Unlinked System Output

Scenario

A system produces output without a clear execution path.

Without OBM

  • output exists
  • origin is unclear

With OBM

  • output is rejected
  • missing execution is detected

Result

Only valid, traceable outputs exist.

Use Case 2 — Financial Result Verification

Scenario

A financial result must be verified against system execution.

Without OBM

  • result is presented
  • origin is unclear

With OBM

  • result is linked to execution
  • full trace is available

Result

Outcome becomes verifiable and trustworthy.
