MTVF® — Minimum Implementation Framework (MIF)
Framework Type: Minimum Implementation Framework
Standard: Truth Validation Standard
Methodology: MTVF® – Multi-Layer Truth Validation Framework
Category: AI Interpretation Standards (AI)
Subcategory: Truth Validation
Version: 1.0
Status: Open Implementation Framework
2. Minimum Validation Conditions
To apply MTVF® at the minimum implementation level, fourvalidation dimensions must be addressed.
Empirical Validation
Information used in decision processes must have a measurable or verifiable basis.
Minimum requirement:
- identifiable data source
- evidence supporting the claim or output
- reproducibility reference where applicable.
Information must be evaluated against at least one independent reference source.
Minimum requirement:
- secondary verification source
- or
- independent analytical confirmation.
The decision environment must be identified and documented.
Minimum requirement:
- operational context
- regulatory or governance environment (if applicable)
- decision impact level.
Validation steps must be documented in order to maintain transparency.
Minimum requirement:
- validation record
- responsible entity
- validation date.
3. Implementation Steps
Organizations implementing MTVF® at the minimum level should follow these steps.Step 1 — Identify Decision Context
Define the decision system or claim requiring validation. Examples:
- AI model output
- analytical report
- automated decision recommendation.
Verify the measurable basis of the claim or decision. Confirm that supporting data exists
and is identifiable.
Step 3 — Perform Independent Verification
Cross-check the information against at least one independent source or analytical method.
Step 4 — Document Validation
Create a validation record containing:
- validated information or decision
- validation steps performed
- responsible entity
- validation date.
