Standard Abstract
Recognizing an integrity breach alone is not sufficient.Once a breach has been verified, governance must transition from detection to
controlled operational action. Every response must be timely, proportionate,
accountable, transparent, and fully auditable to prevent further integrity
degradation and protect the governed entity.
Building upon the verified integrity breaches established by IBS, Integrity
Response Standard defines how governed entities respond to integrity failures
before restoration activities begin.
IRS transforms operational reaction into a standardized governance process
supported by documented authority, controlled execution, and objective
accountability.
Operational Space
IRS governs:- response authorization
- response coordination
- response execution
- containment
- escalation
- stakeholder communication
- response documentation.
This governed space ensures that every verified integrity breach is managed
through a consistent, accountable, transparent, and auditable governance
response across all operational environments.
Why This Standard Exists
A verified integrity breach requires more than recognition—it requiresgoverned action.
Without standardized response governance, organizations risk inconsistent
decision-making, delayed containment, uncontrolled escalation, fragmented
accountability, and increased operational damage.
IRS exists because Integrity Response represents the eighth governed space of
INTEGROS® — Integrity Governance Architecture, providing the canonical
governance framework for responding to verified integrity breaches before
integrity restoration and long-term assurance activities begin.
Relationship to Other OOF® Architectures
IRS governs the integrity response layer and interoperates with:- GOA™
- OBIDENITY®
- ART™
- ORA™
- AGA™
- AIG®
- CLIA®
- MGIA™
- ASGA™
by providing a common governance framework for executing controlled,
accountable, and auditable responses to integrity breaches consistently across
operational domains.
