Standard Abstract
Integrity cannot be governed objectively unless it can be measuredconsistently.
Definitions establish what integrity means, structures preserve it, and
conditions determine when it remains valid. However, governance decisions
require objective evidence rather than subjective judgment.
Building upon the integrity conditions established by ICS, Integrity
Measurement Standard defines how integrity is objectively measured and
evaluated.
IMS transforms integrity from a conceptual governance principle into
measurable operational reality through standardized metrics and evaluation
methods.
Why This Standard Exists
Integrity cannot be effectively governed through assumptions or subjectiveinterpretation.
Without objective measurement, organizations cannot determine whether
integrity is improving, degrading, stable, or compromised.
IMS exists because Integrity Measurement represents the fourth governed space
of INTEGROS® — Integrity Governance Architecture, providing the objective
governance foundation required before integrity states, deviations, and
breaches can be identified.
