Canonical Definition
Redemption Integrity Module defines the structural conditionsunder which prize claims, reward claims, validation events, expired
claims, invalid claims, fraudulent claims, and completed redemptions
remain traceable, distinguishable, and auditor-verifiable throughout the
operational lifecycle of a probabilistic system.
A system satisfies RIM only if:
- redemption events remain traceable
- valid, invalid, expired, fraudulent, and completed claim states are distinguishable
- reward-state changes caused by redemption remain reviewable
- redemption records do not silently distort remaining-state reality
- claim handling remains structurally aligned with lifecycle auditability conditions
A system that cannot distinguish and verify redemption states does not
satisfy RIM.
Module Function
RIM defines the redemption-state integrity layer of probabilistictransparency.
It ensures that prize or reward availability is not reduced through
opaque, ambiguous, or unreviewable claim handling.
The module applies wherever probabilistic systems must process reward
claims and maintain a trustworthy distinction between what was redeemed,
what was merely claimed, what was invalid, and what remains available.
Minimum Implementation Framework (MIF)
Step 1 — Define Redemption States
The organization must define the operational states through which areward claim may pass.
Minimum requirement:
- claim states are explicit
- valid, invalid, expired, fraudulent, and completed conditions are distinguishable
- undefined redemption states are excluded from valid operation
Step 3 — Define Redemption Event Recording
The system must define how redemption events are recorded andreviewable.
Minimum requirement:
- redemption events are traceable
- reward tier and claim state are linked to recorded events
- silent or missing redemption records are excluded from valid integrity conditions
Step 4 — Define Fraud and Expiry Distinction
The system must define how fraudulent, invalid, expired, or otherwisenon-completed claims are distinguished from valid redemption.
Minimum requirement:
- fraud and expiry states are explicitly separated
- invalid claims do not silently reduce valid remaining-state reality
- claim-state distortion is excluded from valid operation
Step 5 — Preserve Redemption-State Consistency
The system must preserve consistency between redemption records and thecurrent remaining reward state.
Minimum requirement:
- completed redemption affects remaining-state reality in a reviewable way
- invalid or fraudulent claims do not create false depletion
- redemption integrity remains auditor-verifiable
Step 6 — Restrict Invalid Redemption Handling
The system must not be treated as valid if redemption events are opaque,ambiguous, untraceable, or structurally inconsistent with
remaining-state reality.
Minimum requirement:
- invalid redemption conditions are identifiable
- ambiguous or distorted claim handling is blocked or invalidated
- claim processing alone does not justify missing redemption integrity
