Canonical Definition
Initial Commitment Module defines the structural conditions underwhich the initial prize, reward, or probabilistic allocation state of a
system is committed in a traceable, immutable, and auditor-verifiable
form before operational launch.
A system satisfies ICM only if:
- the initial committed state is explicitly defined before activation
- prize or reward inventory is structurally identifiable
- issuance volume and distribution structure are fixed or governably declared
- the commitment remains timestamped, traceable, and resistant to silent alteration
- lifecycle reality can be measured against the committed starting state
A system that operates without a verifiable initial commitment does not
satisfy ICM.
Module Function
ICM defines the starting-state integrity layer of probabilistictransparency.
It ensures that a probabilistic system does not begin from an
unverifiable claim, but from a committed reference state against which
later distribution, redemption, remaining-state computation, and
disclosure may be audited.
The module applies wherever prize-based, reward-based, or randomized
systems require a trustworthy initial state.
Minimum Implementation Framework (MIF)
Step 4 — Define Verification Conditions
The system must define how the initial commitment may later be verified.Minimum requirement:
- the committed state is auditor-verifiable
- later lifecycle records can be compared against the initial state
- unverifiable initial commitment is excluded from valid transparency logic
Step 5 — Preserve Commitment Integrity
The system must preserve the integrity of the committed starting statethroughout lifecycle use.
Minimum requirement:
- the initial state remains stable as a reference point
- later changes do not silently rewrite the starting state
- commitment integrity remains structurally reviewable
Step 6 — Restrict Invalid Activation
The system must not be treated as valid if it becomes operationalwithout a defined, traceable, and verifiable initial commitment.
Minimum requirement:
- invalid starting-state conditions are identifiable
- launch without commitment is blocked or invalidated
- probabilistic operation does not begin from uncommitted reality
