Canonical Definition
Energy Flow Truth Standard (EFTS™) defines the mandatory conditionsunder which electrical energy must be attributed, measured, validated,
and valued based on its real-time physical flow, source origin,
temporal state, and consumption context.
Energy cannot be considered validly accounted for unless its value,
environmental impact, and origin are bound to verifiable physical
flow conditions at the moment of use.
EFTS™ operates within a Structured Reality™ framework, where energy value
is derived from actual system behavior, not from administrative
or statistical abstractions.
A. Standard Abstract
EFTS™ establishes a unified methodology for transforming electricityaccounting from statistical approximation and certificate-based claims
into real-time, flow-based, verifiable truth.
The standard eliminates the separation between:
- physical electricity flow
- declared origin
- environmental impact
- economic value
actual system conditions.
C. Scope
This standard applies to:
- national and cross-border electricity systems
- transmission and grid operators
- energy producers (all source types)
- energy markets and exchanges
- industrial and institutional consumers
- AI and compute infrastructure dependent on energy sourcing
- regulatory and reporting frameworks
D. System Position
EFTS™ operates as:

E. Methodology
Energy attribution under EFTS™ must be calculated using:
- real-time production data (by source type)

F. System States
VALID STATEA system is EFTS™ valid only if:
- energy origin is bound to real-time flow data
- cross-border flows are included in attribution
- temporal variation is fully reflected
- storage attribution is correctly linked to charge state
- reported values match physical system conditions
A system is EFTS™ invalid if:
- energy is attributed using certificates without physical linkage
- annual or statistical averages replace real-time data
- imports or exports are excluded or abstracted
- storage output is treated as origin-free
- carbon intensity is declared independently of actual flow
Occurs when:
- low-carbon claims are made while consuming high-carbon flow
- energy origin is administratively reassigned
- "green energy" claims are detached from real consumption
G. Non-Bypassable Clause
No system may claim:
- low-carbon operation
- green energy usage
- sustainable sourcing
Any claim made outside EFTS™ conditions is methodologically invalid.
H. Enforcement Logic
If EFTS™ conditions are not met:
- all energy-related claims are invalidated
- carbon reporting is considered non-verifiable
- system loses compatibility status under OOF
- classification as non-truth-compliant system
- exclusion from validated reporting environments
