Cognitive Autonomy Integrity Module (CAIM) defines the structural conditionsunder which human cognition remains independently exercisable, self-directed,
influence-aware, decision-capable, and operationally valid while interacting
with AI systems, autonomous agents, recommendation systems, information ecosystems,
and future cognition-enhancing technologies.
CAIM governs cognitive autonomy.
The module ensures that human cognition remains capable of independent operation
and does not progressively surrender cognition authority to external cognitive systems.
A system satisfies CAIM only if:
- cognitive autonomy remains preservable
- independent reasoning remains exercisable
- external influence remains visible
- cognition authority remains human-controlled
- dependency formation remains detectable
- autonomous judgment remains materially possible
