Minimum Implementation Framework (MIF)


Step 1 — Tea Integrity

The tea inside the bag must meet Clean Tea Standard conditions.

Minimum requirement:

  • traceable origin
  • clean handling and processing
  • no contamination prior to packaging

Step 2 — Material Integrity

The tea bag must not introduce contamination.

Minimum requirement:

  • no plastic content
  • no microplastic release
  • no synthetic fibers

Step 3 — Structural Integrity of the Bag

The construction of the tea bag must remain safe under use.

Minimum requirement:

  • no chemical leaching in hot water
  • stable structure during infusion
  • no degradation releasing particles

Step 4 — Sealing and Assembly

Assembly must not introduce harmful substances.

Minimum requirement:

  • no toxic adhesives
  • no chemical bonding agents affecting water
  • clean production process

Step 5 — Packaging Integrity

Outer packaging must preserve product condition.

Minimum requirement:

  • protection from moisture and contamination
  • no transfer of harmful substances
  • clean storage conditions

Step 6 — Output Integrity

Final product must remain clean during use.

Minimum requirement:

  • no contamination during infusion
  • no release of foreign particles into water
