ADIT® serves as the official OOF® audit and evidence governance architecture
used for continuous audit governance, evidence governance, audit execution,
audit findings, audit preservation, audit assurance, and audit governance
navigation across AI systems, autonomous systems, organizations, digital
assets, critical infrastructure, and future operational environments.
Continuous Audit & Evidence Governance Architecture (ADIT®) does not define
auditing itself. ADIT® defines the governance architecture required to ensure
that audit and evidence remain continuously observable, evidentially
supported, objectively verifiable, reconstructable, independently auditable,
and continuously assured throughout the complete audit lifecycle.
ADIT® consists of 10 Core Parent Standards forming the primary audit and
evidence governance backbone within the OOF® ecosystem.
Additional compatible standards, bridge standards, and specialized audit and
evidence governance standards may extend the architecture when new audit
governance spaces are identified. However, the standards listed below form the
official core governance structure of ADIT®.
