Canonical Definition
State Verification Module defines the structural conditions underwhich a live system state is verified as current, traceable, and
linked to the real condition it represents at the moment of observation.
A state verification condition is valid only if:
- the observed state exists at the time of verification
- the verified state remains linked to the real operating condition
- the source of state observation is traceable
- the verification output remains structurally connected to the observed state
- delayed interpretation does not replace live state confirmation
- A reported state that cannot be structurally linked to live system reality does not satisfy SVM.
Module Function
SVM defines how system state becomes verifiable in operationalreality rather than only reportable after the fact.
The module applies where an organization must prove not only that a
system had a certain condition, but that this condition was actually
verified while it still existed as a live state.
Step 6 — Restrict Invalid State Claims
The system must not treat assumed, inferred, or post-eventdescriptions as valid state verification.
Minimum requirement:
- reconstructed state is distinguishable from live verified state
- missing live verification is not silently replaced
- validity is not claimed without structural linkage to the observed condition
Canonical Closing Statement
If a state is not verified while it exists, it is not structurallyverified as operational reality.
