Accountability Continuity Standard (ACS) defines the structuralconditions under which accountability relationships remain
preserved, connected, governable, traceable, transferable,
reconstructable, enforceable, reviewable, and operationally valid
throughout the accountability lifecycle despite organizational,
operational, contractual, technological, supervisory, regulatory,
or governance changes.
ACS governs accountability continuity.
The standard establishes the foundational conditions required to
determine whether accountability remained continuously preserved
from decision to outcome and whether accountability survived
transfers, delegations, escalations, reorganizations, substitutions,
automation events, Human-AI transitions, and governance changes.
