TREGA™
Tax-Relevant Event Governance Architecture —
Tax-Relevant Event Governance Layer
TREGA™ serves as the official OOF® tax-relevant event governance
architecture used for Event Context governance, Event
Recognition, Event Formation, Event Boundary governance, Event
Timing, Event Location, Event Participation, Value Association,
Event Relationship governance, Event Determination, Event Record
Governance, and Event Lifecycle & Continuity governance across
physical transactions, digital services, financial systems,
commerce platforms, AI agents, autonomous systems,
machine-to-machine environments, distributed systems,
cross-border activity, organizations, and future taxation
environments.
TREGA™ does not determine taxation itself. TREGA™ defines the
governance architecture required to ensure that real-world,
economic, operational, digital, transactional, machine-generated,
autonomous, and value-affecting occurrences become explicitly
contextualized, recognized, formed, bounded, temporally and
spatially situated, associated with participants and value,
related to other Events, formally determined as tax-relevant,
represented as governed records, and maintained throughout their
lifecycle before jurisdiction-specific taxation rules are
applied.
TREGA™ — Tax-Relevant Event Governance Architecture™ is the
jurisdiction-neutral governance architecture that establishes how
real-world, economic, operational, digital, transactional,
machine-generated, autonomous, and value-affecting occurrences
are contextualized, recognized, formed into governed Events,
bounded, temporally and spatially situated, associated with
participants and value, related to other Events, formally
determined as tax-relevant, recorded, and maintained throughout
their lifecycle before jurisdiction-specific taxation rules are
applied.

Cross-Architecture Boundary Lock
TREGA™: governs Event-specific context, recognition, formation,
boundary, timing, location, participation, value association,
relationships, determination, record, and lifecycle.
TREGA™ ↔ Jurisdictional Tax Systems
As digital platforms, distributed systems, autonomous agents,
machine-to-machine activity, cross-border services, and future
machine economies expand, the Event itself becomes increasingly
difficult to identify, bound, locate, associate with participants
and Value, relate to other Events, and preserve through time.
Jurisdiction-Specific Tax Determination
Primary Governance Domain: Tax-Relevant
Event Governance
Recursive Lifecycle Principle
Foundational Architecture Principles
TREGA™ does not govern legal Taxability, Tax Jurisdiction,
taxpayer determination, tax nexus, legal tax point, Tax Period,
Tax Base, Tax Rate, exemptions, deductions, Tax Liability, filing
obligations, payment, collection, enforcement, or other
jurisdiction-specific legal tax consequences. TREGA™ governs the
methodological conditions under which real-world and digital
occurrences become contextualized, recognized, formed, bounded,
temporally and spatially situated, associated with participants
and Value, related to other Events, formally determined as
tax-relevant, represented as governed Event Records, and
maintained through Amendment, Correction, Supersession, Closure,
and continuity governance until they become Jurisdiction-Ready
for downstream tax-rule application.
